Meet Lindsey & Summer
Lindsey & Summer Robinson
Owners, Twincare Skincare
Lindsey and Summer Robinson have been happy to call Bend home for the past 10 years. They are local estheticians who each have 20 years experience in the health and wellness industry. They are passionate about providing a relaxing and healing experience for their clients, while promoting healthy, glowing skin! Two and a half years ago, the twins decided to embark on the journey of opening their own skin care studio, Twincare Skincare. It has been a dream come true!
Lindsey and Summer are proud mamas of two furry babies each and will often be seen with them at the local dog parks. Lindsey has the cutest 17-year-old three-legged chihuahua named Peanut! In their free time, they love to be out in nature enjoying all that Bend has to offer. Game nights and good books are also a must! Summer continues to be the reigning champion at Connect Four and is practically unbeatable! Feel free to challenge her. Both are world travelers and love to use their Spanish speaking skills.
The Robinson Twins admire the work that is being done by the Sparrow Club and are truly honored to be a part of this event. We appreciate your votes!
Dakota Weeda is a Central Oregon dancer in every sense of the phrase! He started his dancing career at the age of 15 as an instructor at the Terpsichorean Dance Studio; the studio that he grew up in. Although he started his teaching career as a Hip Hop instructor, his true passion lays in Tap and Musical Theatre. In 2014 he was honored to take the lead of TDS as the Director and business owner, as well as a teacher. Shortly after he helped found the local theatrical company, Thoroughly Modern Productions (TMP). In the last five years Mr. Weeda has started numerous community dance opportunities and performances.
Dakota fell in love with dance at a young age. Tagging along to his sister’s dance classes was a regular affair, and before too long he was dancing on the sidelines like everyone else. Through his schooling he trained in Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Over the years he has attended countless workshops and dancer trainings in all genres. In addition to trainings, Dakota has worked with many local companies to produce dance art for a variety of functions. From local commercials to fifth grade graduations, and musical productions to the Woman of the Year event for Bend Chamber. Mr. Weeda’s Musical resume includes Spamalot, Cats, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Rock of Ages, and the Little Mermaid, just to name a few. This summer he is very excited to be the choreographer and an ensemble member for TMP’s Mamma Mia presented by the Tower Theatre.
When he isn’t volunteering to teach at a local school or at the studio teaching and directing, you can usually find Dakota outside with his dogs, Meadow and Mia, and his loving family. “Arts are a way to communicate emotions, tell stories, and just connect to other people. So, the connections that I have in my personal life are key to inspiring my work and keeping my heart involved.” Dakota would like to extend a big thank you to his family for being his biggest supporters in everything he does.
“Since becoming the director of the Terpsichorean Dance Studio, my love of dance has grown exponentially. Every day I get to see the joy on my student’s faces, and I get to experience the heartfelt love that comes from sharing the passion of dance with others. What I get to do for a job is so much fun; make memories with my students. Although I focus on technique and a proper, quality education, the relationships and community that I get to help build is really at the forefront of my mind. Through thick and thin, my students give my life so much purpose. They really teach me!”
