Nick Pagen & Nastassia Miller
Nick Pagen has been fortunate to call Bend his hometown since he was 9 years old. After graduating from Mountain View High School, he attended both OSU & UofO, where he became an avid Oregon Duck fan. Nick now works as a career firefighter/paramedic for the Bend Fire Department and is proud to work alongside his co-workers to serve the community where he grew up.
Nick loves the outdoors and can often be found in the mountains, at the lake or adventuring with his girlfriend Kaylee and their two black labs, Hank & Keizer. His hobbies include snowmobiling, snowboarding, surfing, riding his motorcycles, boating and more.
As a younger adult, Nick served as a Big Brother, for the Big Brother/Big Sister Program, and has always had a passion for assisting children in his community. He’s been a part of a Firefighter Stair Climb team for 7 years helping raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. When he was asked to participate in this Swinging with the Stars event for the Sparrow Clubs, he was excited to try something new… and especially for such a great cause.
Nastassia is an Oregon Native who moved to Bend in 2010 after finishing her bachelor’s degree in Dance from Western Oregon University.
Nastassia loves using the art of dance to connect, inspire, and give hope to those around her. When Nastassia isn’t dancing, she enjoys studying nutrition, building community, exploring the outdoors, and most of all, spending time with her husband Jerrad, daughters Ava and Natalie, and her extended family.
Nastassia is grateful that she can use her love and passion of dance to help the wonderful families of Sparrow Clubs.
