Tyler Haas & Emma James are Argentine Tango dancers and instructors living in Bend, Oregon. Nearly 10 years ago they fell in love with Argentine Tango (and each other!) while taking Tango classes at the University of Oregon. They have been dancing and teaching together ever since.
They danced their way through South America, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe before moving to Bend where they have lived for the last 5 years. Emma and Tyler regularly teach group lessons in Bend every Wednesday night at the Sons of Norway Hall. Although that is currently on hold, they invite you to come dance with them when we are able to connect safely again!

They are passionate about all forms of Argentine Tango and will be dancing a form called Tango Nuevo, which is typically danced to modern or non-traditional music.
When not dancing tango, Tyler creates tango-inspired fine jewelry for his business, Tyler Haas Designs and for his wife, Emma to wear.
